Yes. Our pearls are all authentic culture pearls. We source them directly from pearl farms on Japan. Each pearl goes through a strict selection process base on luster, nacre quality, size, shape and color/overtone strength. We do not sale imitation pearls or color dye pearls.

We use the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Pearl Description System to grade our pearls. It is an objective system develop by the GIA they also established the 4 C diamond grading system. Seven factors are considered size, shape, color, luster, surface, nacre quality, and matching. See our Pearl Knowledge page.

Although the process used to create a culture pearls is induced by human intervention, a tiny bead and a small piece of mantel tissue area planted into the oyster to stimulate the production of nacre, the resulting pearls are every bit as real as the natural ones.
